Dipping Into Politics

Millions of Indonesians streamed to polling stations on Thursday to cast ballots in legislative elections held across the country. After casting ballots, voters dipped their pinky fingers into pots of indelible ink as evidence that they had voted. The thousands of candidates, coming from 38 national parties and six local parties in Aceh, must now wait for the verdict of the ballot box.
